ACRISS defined and agreed location codes as listed in Location codes and included in Annex A of the Code of Conduct since 1992. This was updated a few years back to include additional information relevant to the booking process for car rental locations.
Since 2021 ACRISS has developed and agreed best practices around the location content fields to better support and help the industry in uploading, maintaining and updating location content to the GDS, brokers and our tech partners.
