Industry standards for the car rental sector
ACRISS members identify areas where industry standards are needed to help prevent misleading information within the car rental sector. Dedicated project teams then develop and implement these standards in line with agreed objectives and timelines.
Regular ACRISS meetings ensure active participation and collaboration across the membership and may also include external stakeholders and legal advisors where required, helping to ensure compliance with both ACRISS governance and relevant European legal requirements.
Once approved, all standards are subject to member compliance audits. ACRISS also provides education, guidance, and communication support to the travel trade while promoting wider industry adoption of its standards, guidelines and best practices.
